MGC CIVIL WAS ENGAGED BY DORIC CONSTRUCTION TO UNDERTAKE A RANGE OF CIVIL SERVICES TO ASSIST WITH THE DELIVERY OF THE MIDLAND GATE SHOPPING CENTRE REDEVELOPMENT.
The works included the site clearance, removal and disposal of existing carparks, stormwater, basement bulk excavation and disposal of 45,000m³ of surplus clay spoil, final trim for pad preparation, and backfill to retaining walls.
Excavation and installation of the civil drainage, including stormwater pits & 2 x 8-metre-deep stormwater pump stations.
Preparation and installation of 15,000m² of 150mm limestone sub-base to basement and building pads.
Preparation & installation of 10,000m² of car parks including kerbing, asphalt, signage and line marking.
