MGC CIVIL WAS ENGAGED BY ADCO CONSTRUCTION TO UNDERTAKE CIVIL SERVICES WHICH INCLUDED BULK EARTHWORKS, STORMWATER DRAINAGE AND ROADWORKS/CAR PARKS CONSTRUCTION TO THE WESTERN POWER FORRESTDALE DEPOT.
The works commenced with site clearance of vacant land to remove and dispose of existing trees, grass and other vegetation from the 119,418m² site.
The works then progressed to the cut to fill bulk earthworks to achieve the required design levels for building pads, car parks and landscape areas.
This included final trim and pad preparation to 15,720m² of building pads. This was followed by the installation of the stormwater drainage, including GRAF Stormwater Infiltration Cells.
The final element of work included the preparation and installation of 14,971m² of car parks, including kerbing, footpaths, asphalt, signage, bollards, and line markings.
